DIGITAL PRESS!

The digital press was installed in the fall 1996 to fill the gap left by our high volume flexo presses in the production of affordable short run labels. If you need under 100 labels or need them quickly the digital press is the answer. One of the nice features of the digital press is that it prints with a dry thermal ribbon that is UV-stable and very exterior weatherable. The printed colors are guaranteed to last outdoors 3-5 years. Another nice feature is the programable electronic-die cutting. Because of this there is no die charge for special shapes and since this is direct to press this is no prep charge or plate charge.

To give some idea of how flexible the digital press is, here are some of the materials it can print on:
